Coaching
I provide both Relationship and Life Coaching services to clients who are interested in making positive changes in one or more aspects of their lives. Coaching services are offered in 30-minute and 60-minute meetings. Please note that, although I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois, I do not provide therapy services via the internet at this time and my coaching services are not intended to be therapeutic in nature.
Premarital Counseling
I utilize the PREPARE/ENRICH program to help premarital couples explore their relationship as they prepare for marriage. The typical course for premarital counseling is an initial introductory session in which I meet with the couple to gather basic background information, discuss how our time together will be used, and address any questions or concerns the couple might have. Based on the information gathered in the first meeting, I create a customized assessment for the couple and then a unique User ID and password is created so each person can complete the assessment online. Once both individuals have completed the assessment, we meet for feedback sessions (typically four to eight).
Marriage Enrichment
The PREPARE/ENRICH program also offers customizable assessments for couples who are already married and are looking to enhance their relationship. I like to call these sessions a "marriage tune-up" and I strongly encourage everyone I know, both personally and professionally, to engage in some type of "tune-up" on a fairly regular basis. Marriage takes work - and it can be very helpful to have a non-biased facilitator assist you in improving communication, resolving conflicts, and otherwise enhancing your marriage._
Support Groups
